Sarah Macaulay Studio

About this workshop:

Immerse yourself in an afternoon packed with creativity and inspiration! This is an opportunity to bring along your trash and turn it into treasure. Dig out those op-shop gems and bits and pieces from your shed and give them a bit of love and lick of paint!

We’ll supply the chalk-painting expertise, paints, equipment and refreshments. You just need to bring something along to paint.

Our suggestions include: trays, flowerpots, glass jars, empty food cans, mirrors, stools, wicker baskets, picture frames, tin buckets and watering cans, fruit crates, plain cushion covers… if you’re not sure what to bring we will find something for you! We will have a range of small items on offer which you can purchase to paint on the day.

Please note, there won’t be enough time to paint a piece of furniture (apart from a very small item such as a box or a small stool) so please keep those for our BYO Piece Furniture Painting Workshop instead.

This will be a partly outdoor event (summer garden party style!).

Light refreshments and a glass of bubbles will be provided. Please advise of any dietary restrictions/allergies.

What should I wear?

Aprons are provided but it’s best if you wear old clothes in case of paint splatter. Please wear closed toe shoes.

Where is Sarah Macaulay Studio located?

The Studio is at 18 Judith Street, Seaforth (this is in the north part of Seaforth just off Wakehurst Parkway). Please park on the street outside number 18 and come up the drive, along the right- hand side of the house and through the gate. You will see the backyard studio and I will look forward to welcoming you!

If you are running late for the workshop I would be grateful if you could please give me a call on 0421 962831. Thank you.
