UPCYCLING CLUB

UPCYCLING CLUB

Immerse yourself in an group painting activity packed with creativity and inspiration! This is an opportunity to bring along your trash and turn it into treasure. Dig out those op-shop gems and bits and pieces from your shed and give them a bit of love and lick of paint!

We’ll supply the chalk-painting expertise, paints, equipment and other craft materials. You just need to bring something along to paint.

Our suggestions include: trays, small furniture items such as a bedside or small coffee table, flowerpots, glass jars, mirrors, stools, wicker baskets, picture frames, tin buckets and watering cans, fruit crates, mirrors and plain cushion covers

You may choose to bring a small item of furniture with you and work on it over several weeks. Please note, owing to the larger group size I will not be able to provide detailed furniture painting tuition, so if you have something specific you want to achieve or a larger piece to paint, please keep it for our BYO Piece Furniture Painting Workshop instead. You can check for dates here.

Refreshments

Tea and biscuits provided.

What should I wear?

Aprons are provided but it’s best if you wear old clothes in case of paint splatter. Please wear closed toe shoes.

Where is Upcycling Club taking place?

Sessions take place in our Seaforth Studio at 18 Judith St, Seaforth 2092. Please follow the path on the right hand side of the house and you will see the studio at the rear. There is plenty of on-street parking available.

If you are running late for the workshop I would be grateful if you could please give me a call on 0421 962831.
