Chairs can make a lovely focal point in a bedroom, hallway or bathroom, and beautiful chairs which have been cared for can really enhance the character of your home.
Come along on this four hour workshop to learn to transform your own chair (or one of ours) into something unique and vintage-style. Chairs can be tricky to paint without getting brush marks and drips in the nooks and crannies and we will show you how to paint like a pro! Once your base colour has been achieved you can distress and stencil to your heart’s content. If you don’t have a chair to bring, just ask and we will source one for you for a small extra cost (or if you’d prefer a stool, that can be accommodated too).
This workshop is a wonderful way to spend the day there will be plenty of chances to ask questions, try things out and enjoy getting creative in a tranquil environment.
**Please note this is NOT an upholstery workshop however we can point you in the direction of a lovely local upholsterer if you need one to complete your project.
What will be provided?
Your choice of eco-friendly Australian made Artisan chalk finish paints and waxes and use of our stencils.
This is a really fun class to enjoy with a friend – or come alone and meet fellow creatives. Perfect for a birthday, hen party or girls’ night in.
The price includes a delicious light lunch, hot beverages and sparkling water and the studio has air con and heating so we can still work comfortably whatever the weather.
